DreamHack and The Harbor present the winner in the open idea generation competition. Winner Guilherme Ribeiro provided the idea “The DreamHack Winners Brotherhood” and will win a VIP-trip to DreamHack Dallas in June 2019.

In conjunction with DreamHack Winter 2018, DreamHack and The Harbor hosted an open idea generation competition to generate the next ideas to help shape the DreamHack experience. The challenge was described as “How could we bring the event experience closer to you at home?” and focused on how viewers and followers, not attending DreamHack, could start getting more involved in the DreamHack experience.
Today, DreamHack is happy to announce the four winners of the competition. In total, we had over 60 submissions and 200 votes, and a jury of 5 DreamHack employees went through all ideas and picked the top 4 ideas as the winners of the competition.
The winning contribution was called “The DreamHack Winners Brotherhood” and submitted by Guilherme Ribeiro based in Bucharest, Romania.
“I feel amazing! Very happy and proud about having my idea recognized by an incredible company such as DreamHack, I don’t even know how to fully describe what I am feeling right now, but it’s awesome and I can’t believe this is real,” Ribeiro said when DreamHack reached out to inform him about his victory. His prize will mean that he gets to visit what turns out to be his first ever DreamHack event, as he told us that he never have had the chance to participate before.
Unfortunately I haven’t, but I always followed and watched the DreamHack events on Twitch and it’s amazing, the incredible structure, the games and all the greatness of the event make me feel comfortable watching so many people sharing the same passion that I also have.
Guilherme Ribeiro wins a VIP trip for 2 persons to DreamHack Dallas, including the flight and accommodation covered by The Harbor. So how will Guilherme use his time there?
I will spend my time at DreamHack! Watching all the competitions that I can! Enjoying every moment in the event and all its features, walk around to know the city and then taking my wife to do some shopping, clothes I guess…
